Nestled in the heart of a picturesque 14th-century village, my recent stay at Ostaria Posta was a culinary exploration intertwined with history. Upon entering the cozy hotel, a new area dedicated to wellbeing caught my eye. The 100 m^2 sanctuary boasting a Finnish sauna and a Turkish bath provided a tranquil escape after a day of cycling through the Tuscan countryside.In the evenings, the restaurant's ambiance was nothing short of mesmerizing. As I indulged in the Tasces raviolis filled with cheese and mountain butter, each bite felt like a journey through Italy's gastronomic heritage. The weekly aperitifs, enjoyed outside weather permitting, further immersed me in the region's rich culture.However, I couldn't help but feel that the breakfast lacked the creativity that adorned the rest of my stay. Nevertheless, Ostaria Posta embodies the essence of Italian hospitality and culinary innovation, making it a hidden gem for any traveler seeking a gourmet getaway.
